RAIL WHEEL REPAIR, BUILD UP & REPROFILING

UK Rail Services can offer rail wheel reprofiling for any gauge of railway and wheel size. We can accommodate low or high-volume orders and offer a competitive lead time.

We can machine single wheels and machine the internal bore of wheels ready for fitting your axle. UK Rail Services can supply axles if needed.

If the customer requires their own profile and has a drawing, we can machine any profile requested. We also offer shot blasting and painting to our customers specifications.

UK Rail Services also offer a build up service for worn rail wheels. This is ideal for saving wheels and brings them back to the original size using a process of spiral welding.

In addition to the above we can also offer wheel turning and spiral welding.
